Nutraferon NADROL Injection is a sterile, oily parenteral depot formulation containing 50 mg of Nandrolone Decanoate, a synthetic 19-nortestosterone anabolic-androgenic steroid ester. Characterized by a high anabolic-to-androgenic activity ratio, it is slowly hydrolyzed from its intramuscular depot to promote positive nitrogen balance, stimulate renal and extra-renal erythropoiesis, and enhance osteoblastic bone matrix synthesis in refractory postmenopausal osteoporosis, anaemia of chronic kidney disease, and severe catabolic wasting states.

Clinical Highlights

Androgen Receptor Myogenic & Osteogenic Signaling: Free nandrolone binds intracellular androgen receptors in skeletal muscle and bone tissue, upregulating ribosomal RNA transcription and protein synthesis. Furthermore, 5α-reductase converts nandrolone into dihydronandrolone (DHN), a metabolite with significantly lower androgenic potency in prostate, skin, and scalp tissues than dihydrotestosterone (DHT).
Erythroid Progenitor Stimulation: Enhances renal and extra-renal erythropoietin synthesis and increases red blood cell 2,3-diphosphoglycerate (2,3-DPG), improving tissue oxygen delivery.

Directions of Use & Safety Information

Strictly Deep Intramuscular (IM) Administration Only: Administered exclusively by a qualified physician or nurse deeply into the gluteus maximus muscle. NEVER administer Intravenously (IV) or Subcutaneously (SC) (intravascular injection of an oily depot can cause pulmonary oil microembolism!). Do not self-administer.
CRITICAL EXCIPIENT & DRUG INTERACTION ALERTS (Omitted in Original Text):

Arachis (Peanut) Oil & Benzyl Alcohol Contraindications: Oily depot injections of Nandrolone Decanoate are typically formulated in Arachis oil (Peanut oil) with Benzyl Alcohol preservative. Therefore, it is STRICTLY CONTRAINDICATED in patients with a Peanut or Soya allergy (due to cross-allergy), and Benzyl Alcohol-containing ampoules must never be used in infants/children under 3 years.
Oral Anticoagulant (Warfarin/Acenocoumarol) Potentiation: Nandrolone significantly increases sensitivity to oral Vitamin K antagonists (Warfarin, Acenocoumarol), risking severe bleeding unless the anticoagulant dose is reduced and PT/INR is closely monitored.
