Conventional iron salts release free iron ions in the stomach, causing oxidative mucosal irritation, nausea, and constipation. Liposomal Iron wraps Ferric Pyrophosphate inside a microscopic phospholipid (fat-like) sphere that passes through the stomach intact and is absorbed directly in the small intestine.

Correcting anaemia and chronic fatigue requires more than iron alone: Vitamin B6 is required to synthesize heme, Folate and Vitamin B12 (Methylcobalamin) are required for red blood cell division and nerve repair, Vitamin C aids iron mobilization, and B1/B2/B3 fuel cellular ATP production.

Chronic kidney disease, inflammatory bowel disease, and cancer treatments raise levels of a hormone called hepcidin, which blocks standard oral iron absorption. Because Liposomal Iron is absorbed through vesicular/M-cell pathways, it achieves better uptake and tolerability in these sensitive patient groups.

Take it once daily after a meal with a glass of water, and space it at least 2 hours apart from thyroid medications, calcium supplements, or tetracycline/fluoroquinolone antibiotics.

Patients with iron-overload disorders (hemochromatosis, hemosiderosis) or anemias not caused by iron deficiency (such as thalassemia major or hemolytic anemia) must not take iron supplements unless explicitly directed by a hematologist.
