Nutraferon N-CEFRO 500MG TAB

Directions for Use

• Take N-CEFRO 500MG TAB only as prescribed by your doctor.
• Swallow the tablet whole with sufficient water.
• Do not crush, chew or break the tablet unless specifically instructed.
• Take the medicine at the prescribed times and complete the prescribed course, even if you start feeling better.
• If you miss a dose, take it when remembered unless it is nearly time for the next dose. Do not take a double dose.

Safety Information

• Inform your doctor if you have previously experienced an allergic reaction to cefuroxime, cephalosporins or penicillin-type antibiotics.
• Tell your doctor if you have kidney disease, liver problems or a history of colitis/severe intestinal problems.
• Inform your doctor about all medicines and supplements you are taking.
• Medicines that reduce stomach acidity may affect the absorption of oral cefuroxime; discuss their use with your doctor or pharmacist.
• Consult your doctor before use during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
• If you develop severe, persistent or bloody diarrhoea, seek medical attention promptly.
• Stop taking the medicine and seek urgent medical help if signs of a serious allergic reaction such as swelling of the face/throat, difficulty breathing or widespread rash occur.
• Keep the medicine out of reach of children.
• Store according to the instructions on the product packaging.

Commonly reported side effects can include nausea, diarrhoea, stomach discomfort, headache, dizziness or an unpleasant taste. Contact your healthcare professional if symptoms are severe or persistent.
